First post of November!

Its the first weekend of November which means ridiculous looking sweaters, hot chocolate, and freaking out about the upcoming Cal Arts deadline. So far its been relatively calm freaking but that could change at any given moment.

Here's some sketchbook pages that I did this week.

Getting into the Halloween spirit. I should do a day after Halloween one with candy wrappers everywhere.

Can't have a map without a balloon man's house or a deceiving sign. That'd be wrong.

This week was the first time using color in painting. Yay.

And here's Pascal in his painted glory. When I get it back I'll take a better picture.

I did this in pastel. Really need to pay more attention to people's legs when they're running.

Halloween! I Went as Sulley from Monsters University. Aren't I terrifying? I should really drop out of art school and go into scaring. Mike Ball is kinda my pride and joy right now. Painted him on a bouncing ball that I found in the toy section at Walmart (used to have Nemo and Crush swimming on it. Thought I might as well keep it in the Pixar theme) and his adorable retainer smile is so infectious!
